Sherwood 1 – 7 Attenborough Colts
It was a bitterly cold morning and it was clear which team had eaten their porridge for breakfast! Sherwood never really woke up and there were various complaints of cold hands and headaches due to the temperature. But everyone contributed something to the match. Patrick made some good saves and both Kieran and Aadam had brief spells in goal. Leon was solid in defence while Thomas, Jordan and Kellum tried hard to keep up with the superior pace of the Colts. There were several shots on goal but the magic moment came from a sharp set up from Alfie powered into the net by Nico.
Never mind lads. The winning streak will return. But next week, wear two pairs of socks, a woolly hat, and eat your Ready Brek!
