Sherwood Red 3 – 2 Bingham Town White
Sherwood had to work hard for their 3 points in this game. Bingham have strengthened their squad and easy games against them seem to be a thing of the past.
Our squad has also been depleted – first, by losing regular goalkeeper Patrick to a broken collarbone (out for most of the season now), and secondly by being without ace defender Thomas. Thanks to Josh who has stepped in as goalie and done a fantastic job.
The Bingham match saw us go behind 2-nil at half time. Fortunately, in the second half our midfielders and attackers started playing the passing game that we know they are capable of. Jack put us back in contention and Kel followed up with a further 2 to seal a victory.
Ethan was Man of the Match for his excellent defensive display.
