Sherwood 2 – 11 Bulwell Rangers
In what was almost a repeat of the match against Wollaton Hall, Sherwood struggled to find their pace and to keep their formation this lunchtime. The weakened squad (with both Alfie and Leon out with injury) couldn’t match the speed and strength of Bulwell. We knew this match would be tough, having played Bulwell many times before, but not this tough!
Having said that, it was great to see Jack on the scoring board with his first goal for Sherwood, and former captain Thomas booting his first in for what seems like ages (mainly because he’s been playing in defence). And guess what, Nico arrived before Neil – that’s a first!
Come on lads – what’s happened to the form you showed against Attenborough. You can do so much better than this – early nights next Friday and no partying with your WaGs!
