Sherwood FC 7 – 0 Riverside FC
Sherwood were very much in command from the kick off with the attack consisting of Bradley, Tyler and Kel. Riverside worked hard for the first ten minutes and managed to keep Sherwood at bay until Bradley scored with a beautiful volley from the edge of the penalty box. Sherwood’s dominance continued with two further goals from Kel. However, Sherwood lost concentration as the half wore on and the game became more even. The defence now came into their own with good work from Callum, Kayne, Thomas and Luke.
The half time score was 3-0.
Riverside seemed to lose heart in the second half. There was little work for Patrick to do and as the half wore on the Kel-Exo and Ethan show unfurled as they stretched Riverside’s defence. There were more goals from Kel, Exo and Tyler leading to a full-time score of 7-0.
No Man of the Match was chosen as everyone gave a good performance.
